Hyderabad: Rain has been reported in various areas in Hyderabad and further rain is expected at night on Thursday.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) passed the forecast of rainfall and lightning post-down in Hyderabad on Thursday and Friday.
Rain thundershowers could come with gusty winds in the upcoming two days as per the IMD-Hyderabad forecast.
"Yellow Alert Issued for Hyderabad amid Rainfall Forecast"
Considering the rain forecast, lightning, and thunderstorms, the weather department has put out a yellow alert for the next two days.
The alert is for Charminar, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, LB Nagar, Secunderabad, and Serilingampally areas.
According to the forecasts of weather enthusiast T. Balaji, who is known for his accurate forecasts, a severe thunderstorm is expected in the afternoon and night.
"Heavy Rainfall Hits Telangana"
Besides Hyderabad rainfall, rains have also been experienced in other Telangana districts.
The maximum rainfall of 47.88 mm was witnessed in Siddipet up to 2 pm on April 3. Kamareddy also received high rainfall of 44.5 mm.
Rainfall started in the city at 2 pm and will probably persist with further downpours around midnight.
